I just got to know him in August. We have become homiez and i luv him. I embarassed myself in front of him but he still checked to see if i wuz ok and to see wat happened. I really want to be his girlfriend and some ppl have been telling me he likes me but I'm not sure.... I really like him..... Should I ask him out or should I wait cuz I don't want to ruin our friendship. I really like him! PLZ help! Read my other question if u wanna hear the full story. (the one that says "how do u know if a guy likes u?") I luv my homiez!!!!

Why don't you go for it? Its part of life to do those type of things. If you don't you could end up regretting it later.

I was in a similar situation a couple years ago, we became really good friends in a short time, I really liked him, but was scared to say anything, luckily for me he made the first move and we've been together since. If you want to know if he likes you then watch how he acts towards you. Does he try to make excuses to touch you? Does he spend a lot of time alone with you? Does he talk about other girls? How does he act towards you vs. other girls? These aren't really any definites though, I think it depends on the guy and how secure he is, if he's shy then he probably won't show as much.
In the end you have to go with your gut instinct and take a risk if you really like him, if you tell him and he doesn't feel the same then it won't necessarily ruin your friendship, depending on how mature he is, just make sure he doesn't start leading you on because he likes the attention, but doesn't want to date.

It's kind of nice when the girl you like hugs you... The girl I liked hugged me the other weekend, then asked me if I liked her, I said NO but then I couldn't sleep properly so had to tell her today that I lied to her and I do like her.
She doesn't like me back but hey... She got it out of me.
