The nearest airport from Borobudur is situated in a capital city of the province, Yogyakarta which is roughly 40 km from the temple. The name of the airport is Adisucipto International Airport (JOG), 8 km east of town, is a small but busy domestic hub presently (2005) undergoing renovation and expansion. Have a nice trip!
