I'm getting married in July and I chose to use a soft, fresh color scheme rather than the typical reds, yellows and greens. I chose 4 colors-soft pink, light peach, a creamy yellow and white. (I'm using roses as my flowers and these colors are very beautiful together!) Using these light colors works good for my area since the temperatures are usually really hot and the lighter colors seem easier to wear. Besides, in the summer most people have a tan and lighter colors look great with sun-kissed skin tones.
Whatever you choose will be wonderful, though! Just remember that there aren't any rules to follow for picking colors! Just choose whatever you like and decide what type of flowers you prefer and go from there! It's you and your fiancé's day and you have the power to do what you want!

It's all about what you want honey. I would limit any really dark color to an accent color. I'm in my sister's wedding in july and the dresses are pink with brown.

I was married in July, and my colors were yellow and light green. The bridesmaids wore light green dresses and carried yellow roses tied with white ribbons. My maid-of-honor carried white roses like mine but hers were tied with yellow ribbons.

I agree the colour should be yellow and green or brown and green, it would be like a romantic wedding in a forest. Nice!!!

Pastel green .. something light and cute , go to davids bridal and they can show you some sample colors , for the summer try the color clover its real nice
