Ok if you can get euclyptus oil, kind of hard to find. Mix 2 tablespoons in a regular sized spray bottle of hot water. Shake it up and you can spray carpets, around doors and furniture if it's not light colored with it. Do that about once a week and say bye bye to fleas. You can also use borax in your carpets. Sprinkle it all over carpets, work it in and around with a broom, let it set for a few hours then vaccum. Remember to change vaccum bags monthly. Flea combs are the safest way to get fleas off a cat.

well any flea killer is going to tell you to remove the pet from the house for atleast 6 hours or so. I would say flea powder for the carpet would be good. There may be some sprays you can find in pet stores to spray furniture with just make sure its completely dry before putting the sheets back on the bed. also washing a animal with dawn soap is harmless but will effectivly kill the fleas make sure to comb them afterwards though with a flea colar. you will also want to treat there colars and if you have kitty codos or things of that nature spraying them as well would be good. also make sure to use a flea collar. Good luck heres a good website to try out on ridding of fleas

my dog had fleas, they are horrible and bite like crazy. Well bomb your house, I used the spray and the fog. I had a total of 10 bottles going at once , left the house for 6 hours, took my dog with me. When i came back opened all the windows for at least two hours and didnt even have a fly for the next two years..lol. Anway just make sure you cover your leather furniture and clean the house good after that. If you are not sure that you killed all the fleas, put on white socks and walk through the house.... fleas jump unto the socks...believe me. Dip your cat as well, frequently and get her that stuff...i forgot the name... they are a fluid that you put directly on the fur behind the ears...hope that helps

There is no non-harmful way, but you can prevent it by crating your cats and bringing them somewhere for the day while you flea bomb your house, trust me this is the only way to get rid of them and fast. When you get home at the end of the day open all windows and vacuum, put advantage or frontline on your kitties and voila! No more fleas.

try these...i had a massive flea prob and eventually they all died but it took forever
1.Borax laundry booster-put this on the edges of the room and in corners. in dehydrates them and they die.it even dries up the eggs.
2. put a pan of soapy water in the room on the floor...put a bright light right above it(like a reading lamp with the shade off)...the fleas will jump up to the light and fall in the soapy water....do this at night...
3. get the cats out somehow just for a little while and set off a flea bomb.u might have to spray under things the bomb doesnt reach
we did all of this...our cats are good.
good luck

You need to treat the cat or the fleas will just come back. Frontline Plus works fantastic. I put it on all my cats and dogs and did a thorough vacuuming and the problem was gone in days.

go to your grocery store go to the detergent aisle and buy 20 mule team borax washing detergent, go home and spread it around the area where you have seen fleas, carpet, under mattress, etc and brush it around with the broom leave for an hour or so , then vacum it up, BORAX is the main ingredient and will start dehydrating the fleas and any other bugs you have in the area, don't let your cat walk in the detergent, vacum it up first but it is safe

u might think i am being a smart *** but me and my husband were watching a documentary and they said that the most effective way to get rid of fleas in your house is to use a really powerful vaccum cleaner and to get rid of the bag afterward, we tried it and it works really well

The fluid viola is talking about is either frontline of advantage. It is kinda expensive but works. Be sure to follow directions.
