i.e. unless you're both a perfect match, you won't even want to be together? I was under the impression that it was just two people attracted to each other wanting to have a fun time together...but tell me if I'm wrong

It depends on where you are trying to date. For instance, New York is different than North Carolina dating. Also, it's good to know what each other intentions are for the night. Some girls want committment, some girls just want to have a good night on the town. You get my drift? However, you never know if you are going to meet the one. For me, it was unexpected. Your impression about "it was just wo people attracted to have fun" is right in my views. To fully answer your question...it depends if you really want the "job." You can't just date because you need to. Have confidence, ask the girl out for a casual coffee or something. If she says no, just brush it off, "there's plenty of fish in the sea." Don't give uP!

no
think of it as an casting for a play
except men genrally do not know the part their being cast in by the women ( financial saviour ) and women being cast as Pamela Anderson ( pre boob job )
job interviews are easy by comparisons
there is no games
there is just brutal honest about your skillsets ( or lack there of )
