Medics are always enlisted personnel E-1 through E8. Here is a link with the ranks for all branches of the military. The 2nd link takes you right to airforce rank.

Unlike the Navy, all air force personnel are referred to only as a rank such as Airman, Airman First Class, Senior Airman, Staff Sergeant, and on up. Also, officers are only referred to as Lieutenant, Captain, Major, etc.
Air Force folks have a MOS (four digit number) that identifies what they are specialized in, but you don't go around referring to a sergent as Hey, 8243!

Navy medical folks are referred to as "Corpman" or "HM's"; Dental folks are referred to as "DT's" or Dental Technicians.

A medic is any one regardless of grade/rank. They are both Officers and Enlisted Personnel.

The rank structure in the military is the same for medics as it is any other member of the service.

i think they are enlisted ranks.

But for someone like me, who is going as a doctor, we go in as a captain, all MDs are officers.
