I've been told that it's helped one of my co-workers and it sounds too good to be true. I have moderate to severe carpel tunnel and tendonitis in both of my wrists. I feel like I'm falling apart and I'm too young to be having all these problems with my hands! I haven't even really worked at places where I have repetitive motions. Medicine is irritating my stomach and I can't get any more cortizone shots. I'm down to having to get the surgery but I've heard too many horror stories about it. What can I do?

Hi I have it too as my bosses make me type so much!

I have found a) sitting in sauna to be really helpful pain wise--try to place your sore spots down on the hot boards.

OR wearing a brace--that totally helps too.

I have also had MUCH success with massage & physio.

YES a chiropractor and massage therapist can prevent /cure the problem using the principles in the book at the bottom.

Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

properly, tendinitis and carpel tunnel are in certainty the comparable hence. Carpel tunnel is in simple terms yet another call for wrist tendinitis. that's recommended to take a closer seem to work out what that's. I advise you palpate around the injured section to work out in case you will detect a soreness component, related to the dimensions of a penny or extra advantageous. in case you detect one, that must be indicative of Carpal tunnel and that i could advise use of a product referred to as the FASTT patch for it. With a three patch scientific care, there could desire to be an progression in keeping with how intense the harm is. If the harm isn't too intense it won't take plenty a super decision weeks to heal.

Don't be afraid of the surgery. Done properly by the right surgeon, it will give you permanent relief. I don't have any experience with chiropractors-I would prefer to see a real doctor if something is wrong with me.
