I think it's a good idea if you do because they are experienced when they are younger and already went through all of this. I ask my dad because he's a guy and I want to see his point of view. Do you talk to your parents about your crush?

I am not the kid- but the parent. Both my children (one out of HS and one in mid school) talk to me about everything. They trust that I will speak to them with my experience and love and give them guidance. If you have this relationship early enough- that insures there will be no judgements made in the future.
I didn't have a realtionship where I could talk to my Mom openly. But I did try a few times, before I decided it wasn't going to happen.

Yes, I do. For the need to represent my parents my crush, I had told them all about it. Although if I truly like a boy; I WILL SHOW MY PARENTS MY CRUSH without have reservations, as well.

Well, I haven't, but my friend Emma has. Her mom made a "Good Luck With Corey" (her crush) note and put it in Emma's binder. My dad would die, and my mom would treat me like a baby, so I refrain from mentioning it.

I so do. I thought that was kinda of loserish too, but all my friends started talking to their parents cus I was. What can I say? Parents give some pretty good advice.

Whoowhee, I could NEVER EVER talk to my father about relationships.

Why?

1.) He is such and asshole and is never serious.
2.) He puts anything intelligent I say down.
3.) He was a loser in high school.

lolz...

no. that's like talking to your boss about your last gyn appointment. taboo. your parents don't know anything about dating because the last time they dated was so long ago, they prolly drew pics of it on the wall of a cave.
