Here are two that are very easy and very good:
Chicken Spread
1 can of chicken packed in water (like large cans of tuna)
1 6-8 oz container of Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread with chives.
Mix them together and it is ready to go. It served well for 25-30 people.
Vidallia Onion Dip
2 cups chopped Vidallia Onion
2 cups Mayo
2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
Mix all three ingredients together in a 9x13x2 Pyrex baking dish and bake for 30 - 40 mins at 350 F.
This one makes a lot! It was a hit at the Fire halls super bowl party.
As I was looking these up I came across my sisters Cheese Ball recipe:
1 2.25 oz pkg Armour Star Sliced Dried Beef, rinsed, chopped
1 8oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp prepared horseradish
3 green onions chopped
2-3 shakes of Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp of garlic powder.
Mix 1/4 cup of the dried beef and all of the other ingredients together. Refrigerate for 15 mins. Form into a ball and roll in the remaining dried beef. Chill thoroughly. Serve and enjoy!
I hope these help. I would suggest seeing what is on sale at the super market and decide what is best to fix. Also, do more than one that way you only have to make one or two batches of each recipe, it will give your guests variety and possibly accommodate to various tastes. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope this was of some help!

you can try to make egg spread
just hard boil the the egg ( depends how many guests you have) then slice it into small bits. after that, mix it with mayonaise.. you can also add cheese and onion to taste.
another spread is the tuna spread..
just buy canned tuna (depends how many guests you have), make sure you chose the tuna flakes in oil or the hot and spicy flavor..mix it with mayonaise. add little amount of salt and minced onion to taste.

How about refried bean dip w/ cheese and salsa, or buying dried Garbanzo beans, soaking, cooking and making them into Hummus?
Easy and cheap.
Good luck.
