If you don't believe me get your head out of your *** and google "Bush cut's veteran's benefits." It's simple to know the truth. But then again, you really can't handle the truth, can you?

Yea, its amazing those cuts to VA funding Bush made.

While the Liberal hero Clinton increased VA funding from 37 billion to 47 billion over 8 years. A whopping 3% a year.

Mean ole Bush cut VA funding from 47 billion in 2001 down to 80 billion in 2006, a 11.7% cut per year and a 70% cut in 6 years.

UT OH, something doesn't add up !!!!!!

Just how did mean ole Bush cut VA funding when it increased by 70% in 6 years.

I got it !!!!!!!!!!

It's the new liberal math

Republican funding Increases are now Liberal funding cuts....

And he says Republicans need to get their heads out
of their ***'s !!!!

Who's he trying to fool?

Next he will try and tell us that Bush's 114% increase in Federal Education funding, from 41 billion in 2001 up to 88 billion in 2007 was really a cut ...........lol

And you know he won't ever mention that the last Democrat Congress the 103rd Congress is the only Congress in history to actually CUT the Federal Education budget, they cut it 16%.

But hey, liberals are always good for a laugh !!!!!!!!!

Yeah, Bush is the guy who goes after the vets, the creep!

McNulty opposes cuts to vets' health care

At a time when the nation's leaders are asking troops to risk their lives overseas, many are wondering why President Bush is looking to cut health care payments for veterans.

http://www.apfn.net/messageboard/02-08-05/discussion.cgi.1c.html

After warning during his State of the Union address last week that he would make drastic spending cuts to nearly 150 federal programs, more specifics were revealed Monday in his $2.57 trillion budget for 2006 that increases military spending but asks some veterans to double their co-pay for prescription drugs.

The proposal, which is expected to draw heavy fire in Congress, would also require some veterans to pay a $250 annual fee for their federally delivered health care.
After attending a morning ceremony honoring three wounded local Army National Guardsmen at the state Division of Military and Naval Affairs in Latham, Rep. Michael McNulty, D-Green Island, called the proposal an "outrageous" slight to veterans who fought for their country.

All the congressional pols are, in fact, anti-military if one judges them by how much pork they rip off the defense budgets every year or allow other porkers to do so. The O & M money that keeps our military hardware in good service is a particularly vulnerable target for the porkers. Shame or self-respect is not a
requirement to be a congressman. Some couldn't even qualify for a credit card. Others are deadbeats. The shame is all are elected and that is not a good reflection on the wisdom or virtue of the people who consistently return them to office. Would their voters re-elect them if they knew they were ripping off the troops
tools of defending themselves??

I was a paratrooper in the army. I never went on sick call and when I finished service I got a job and never called in sick. Some of my friends from time to time lost their job and healthcare so they went to the VA for medical treatment. Now I'm pushing sixty and am going to be laid off next week. I am taking some very expensive medicine and treatments for the past ten years, I must have medical care. I went to the VA and they informed me that anyone not signing up by Jan. 2003 is cut off from VA medical help. I will suffer and at some point die without treatment, but I won't leave my wife in poverty, I would rather die. I think the gov. will provide hospice so at least I will have pain meds. Thanks Mr. President.
