I'm not a tree climber, never was, never will be. I'm not really built for it, you've gotta be a bit smaller and more wiry...I'm built more like a refrigerator...and when was the last time you saw a major appliance swinging from the trees..
If you do have a time when you did see a major appliance swinging from the trees, then what were you smoking at the time, and can I score some...

we didn't come from monkeys which is why we build Tudor complexes and condos; the monkeys live in trees and grass. The last time I checked Silverback Gorillas weren't being hired at any architecture firms.

No one ever told me that humans came from monkeys.
We may have evolved from a family of primates that monkeys also evolved from that may never have been in trees.

We did, we made houses out of trees, still do. We also live in caves (aka man-made stone/concrete houses) sometimes too. Wasn't Jesus a carpenter? He make houses out of trees. lol

I practically lived in the pine tree in the backyard when I was younger. My hair was perpetually matted down with sap. Drove my mother batty.

There are people that do. They build elaborate treehouses and actually live in them.
