deep condition once or twice a week. avoid heat styling for a week or so. redkin makes a great product called anti-snap which actually adds proteins to the damaged cuticle. while you can't actually "repair" the damage you can use products like anti-snap until all the damaged parts are eventually trimmed off. throw away your conair straightener and invest in a higher end ceramic iron. always use a protectant spray and from now on put the iron on low

There are products out there that claim to tame curls.
But, personally, the best advice I can give you, is to get a really good moisturizer that is for damaged dry hair. Use it every day. Let the moisturizer stay in your hair for at least 3 mins.
Also, when another great way, is to wet hair, put conditioner in your hair and wrap it with a plastic wrap, and towel to prevent dripping. Just do it when your hanging around the house.

Along with most of the advice everyone else is giving you, I would suggest you invest in satin pillow cases. Cotton sucks all the moisture out of hair and aggravates spit ends even more. Satin allows hair to glide against it and helps keep straightened looking sleek longer. Also, every day heat is BAD!!!!! Flat iron hair for special occasions or going out only. Give hair a rest in the meantime. And sorry to break it to you, but you will have to get it cut. :(

unfortunately there is no way to repair the damage you have done but you can use products like V05 hot oil or Zero frizz serum to make it look better and more manageable. Throw your blow dryer away also it just makes it more frizzy!!! I have ruined my hair quite a few times and have learned that you just have to wait for it to grow out!!Good Luck
