Is there some vitamin or mineral that will reduce it? Or something to that extent?

Nope, you're pretty much stuck with lotions that contain lactic acid or glycolic acid, and urea. You need something that will prevent keratin from building up in your hair follicles, and vitamins just won't do that.

I have this problem. There is hope, as you get older it does reduce in appearance. My dermatologist gave me a good cream that seems to help. It is called Uremol HC cream.
I hate having KP as well, especailly when you have to wear short sleeves.
