Roast should be taken out the night before. And put in lower refrigerator. Wake up early and take out to thaw. You can start at 400 for 1/2hr then put temperature down to 250. Never put a frozen roast in oven like that. Turns out tough and maybe will not cook on the inside.
Good luck.

Your probably never going to get it to cook right straight from the freezer. I recommend that you put it in a water tight bag, and put it in a sink with running cold water as long as possible. If it's not too thick, it could be defrosted in a half hour ... might need about 2 hours if it is pretty thick.

Your going to need at least 12 minutes per pound at 400.

Yes, I always cook my roasts directly from the freezer. Perseason as you would any other time. Place in oven at 350*. It's difficult to say for how long. Depends on weight and cut of meat.

You cannot cook it from the freezer, how will you season it. Putting it in water will make it tough. You would be better off cooking something else or going to the store to buy another roast.

If you think a frozen roast is a problem, try serving one that is unerseasoned and tough. You will be embarrassed. foodnetwork.com has lots of recipes to choose from. Good luck.

I cook my food from the freezer. Letting it sit in the open does not seem like a good idea to me. I would cook it on low temperature to cause it to defrost. Then after an hour you can turn the temp. up.

for a 6-10 pound pork, roast for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. before roasting, you can place it in hot (not boiling) water to defrost it a bit.

Yes Yes Yes you can
I put the frozen roast in a corning ware deep dish with lid , or roaster with lid .
2 cup water , seasoning of your choice , mine is chopped garlic I keep a 8 oz gar in frig & onion flakes
Bake at 400" for 1 hour then turn down to 325" bake till tender
I can't really say how long , it depends on how big it is & some cuts of meat are more tender then others .
It comes out tender & moist & my husband loves it
We searve it with mashed potatos & gravy , cole slaw made with sour cream , suger to taste & a bit of viniger to taste.
hot rolls

I always make my roast starting with frozen meat , we don't like dried out meat .
Done this with small to med small ham , pork & beef .

Thanks, that's a good reminder , I'll make some tomorrow :-)
