Is it uncomfortable? Does she push the children on you, or did she hide them from you until you knew her better, and did you want to run out the door? Or did you understand and want to help her raise them? While all the time you wondered if you would get booted when daddy came home!

If I were you I would run far and fast. I married a man with 3 kids and an ex and it SO much more difficult then you would ever expect. Oh my GOSH!! Be careful of yourself. You are your priority. Be number one

I didn't consider that I pushed my kids on my boyfriend of 8 months, he thought so. What he had 2 of his own. I had 2. Maybe get together 2-3 times a month and he said it freaked him out. Don't get involved with a woman who has kids and decide later you aren't interested in being around her kids. It's not fair to them.. A man/woman should know what he can give before he gets started with a person with kids. Kids can't be thrown to the side..

Any woman that you date shouldn't hide the fact that she has children but for everyone it's just different. Some people can handle it and some just can't. But if the father is still in the children lives then it should be something that should be discussed so that there's not any misunderstandings.

Ok i know thats a very confusing deal. Heres the thing show the kids whos boss not meaning being a dick show them your authority dont let them crawl all over you AND DONT TELL here how to raise he kids. that the biggest mistake that anyone could make there her babbies and she does not need some one to tell her how to run her children. get to know the kids. take them to parks movies do things with them. show them that with you there they wont be missing there daddy.

Actually it was very comfortable, It seemed natural for the three of us to be together, every time. She didn't push her daughter on me, exactly, but tried to encourage her to like me. I did like her, appropriately enough, but she didn't think so. I wanted to help her raise her daughter, but apparently her selfish, immoral family didn't want that. They didn't want her to get married nor for her daughter to have a father. Bad people? You're right. So my advice to you, is tread the waters carefully!

I have dated several women with children and am currently doing so.
I have never met a single mum who pushed her children on me.
Most aren't looking for a father for their children, they are looking for someone for themselves.
It is still important to be a good role model for her children though.

ok, i have 2 kids, and it is no problem with guys that i have kids. i also tell them up front. if they have a problem with me having kids then they have a problem with me. i dont push my kids on anyone. if they love me they will also love my kids. it may take time, but eventually they will love us. lucky for me i found a great guy who doesnt mind me having kids and thinks as them as his own even tho i have not fully introduced them to eachother. if u are interested in a girl that has kids, the best thing to do is talk to her about it. see where she stands with the issue. see if her and the babies dad is still in the picture and if she is ready to move on.

i went on a date with a older single parent. i'm too young to be in a relationship with someone with kids. I think my main concern was she had kids because i'm just not ready for that responsibility yet. she is a good person, but we are at two different place in our lives right now.
