Alright, here's the situation. There has been a girl at my school that I have wanted to meet for a long time. I finally went and introduced myself about a week ago. I asked her about a class she was in, and we talked for a couple of minutes. When I introduced my self and shook her hand, she kind of laughed and then told her name. A couple days later I saw her again and said hi. She said hi back and I sat down next to her at a computer in the library. She didn't say anything else to me though. I don't know what to think. Also when I see her other places, she never says hi, but if I say hi, she will anser back. Does she want to be my friend or is she not interested and just being polite? Or is she just shy and doesn't talk much? Thank you for answering!

Well it depends how she looks at you? If she gives you a little smile then she is only your friend. But if she gives you a regular smile she definetly likes you a little or she is shy and really likes you and has feelings for you but just hiding them because she dosn't want to get embaressed so....I think you have a pretty good chance with her.....!

O.K. she may be shy, or maybe she's not interested, but.... You will never know unless you are direct with her. What's the worst that can happen? She could tell you she's not interested and you can chalk it up and move on or she could show you interest, in witch case you would wish you would have made your move sooner. just do it!

I think she just wants to be friends. Heres some advice: Try to act cool around her. Invite her to a movie or something. If things are still awkward between you, then just stay friends. Good luck!

She's being polite. Leave her alone and go make friends with those cool people you hear about on America's Most Wanted. They sound like they'd be pretty cool people to be friends with!

Talking is very good to find out things. Ask Her if she wants to have lunch with you. that will give you two time to get to know each other. If you want to be her friend YOU have to take some action and make it happen.

She might be shy so just take a chance and ask her.
If you don't ask her you'll never know.
