Why do You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions, but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours?

Why do You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms, but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt?

Good question. I guess because hell threatens them.

"Why do You vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions" ... because they are false gods, there is only One God

"but feel outraged when someone denies the existence of yours?" ... Outraged? Hardly. More like pity :)

"Why do You feel insulted and "dehumanized" when scientists say that people evolved from other life forms" ... again, not insulted or dehumanized, more like a sigh of resignation that you do not understand God's magnificance

"but you have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt?" ... Because it is true, life was breathed into mere dust and from that man was created in God's image.

You certainly attribute more emotion to us than is warranted. We are not as concerned with science's claims as you think.

I have never actually felt "outraged" when someone denies the existance of Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit. It saddens me. But I love people too much to actually have vicious feelings of 'outrage'. And when someone denies my God, I don't engage in namecalling by calling them a bigot. But I can't say others give Christians the same "tolerance".

I don't feel insulted or dehumanized when scientists say people evolved from other life forms. I don't feel insulted because I don't believe they actually mean it to be an insult. I don't feel dehumanized by it because I just don't believe it's true. I have no problem with the Biblical claim that we were created from dirt, because God blew His breath into that dirt and created life. So in effect, by God doing that, the dirt became holy ground.

1. The other Gods you speak of are demons wanting to be worshipped like the Christian God. Darwinism grew out of Paganism, both believe in some form of evolving into something. The other Gods want some distorted form of worship, I know I use to be Pagan and nothing good ever happened to me.
2. You believe in DIRT to SILLY. In the Beginning DIRT (the big bang theory) created the heavens and the Earth. Does the Bible talk about monkeys, no, then why would I believe in Darwin, is he God, no, so there you go. By the way, he did have a degree in theology, makes you wonder where he went wrong!!!

Well I speak for myself when I say that I vigorously deny the existence of thousands of gods claimed by other religions because I simply do not believe in them.

However I personally do not feel outraged when someone denies the existance of my God because I understand that they do not believe. But, I would be outraged if an individual ridiculed me for my beliefs because I have tolerance towards everyone its only good nature to show that tolerance beack to me.

I don't feel insulted when scientist say that we evolved from other life forms because I know I didn't and I know what I know and I stick to it. If they believe it to be so then whatever, if it makes them happy.

I can ask why do you lump all people who believe in Jesus and God under the term "Christians", and ask this question.
I deny nothing, I don't feel dehumanized or insulted by scientists and their theories, seeing that scientists are technically only best-guessing their efforts from a single viewpoint of observation- the one here on earth, in this dimensional plane.
I keep an open mind.

Because the God that we follow, Elohim, the Christian God, the God of Abraham Isaac, and Jacob, is the Creator of everything seen and not seen. Including the other gods. Following anything else is just leading you to a path of destruction and we are trying to get you to open your eyes, with reason, love, logic, understanding, and our testimonies! We have all been where you are now. And once you have experienced Jesus Christ, nothing else compares. It is that wonderful!! I would rather believe that we were crafted out of the dust of the earth than, we were originally nothing, then a rock, then became pond scum and then after millions of years, we ate bananas and picked lice off of each other and ate them! There must be something wrong because the apes are still here!

Other peoples ignorance does not insult me, and I don't care what you believe. My relationship with my GOD is personal and has nothing to do with you. As for scientists claims saying we came from matter or whatever, my question is where are the facts. Science is nothing without facts, and last i checked they said they still need time along with atheists to determine where you all came from, as for me i know.

1.a) Because God says about 10 or so times just in the book of Isaiah "There is no God besides Me"b). I don't feel outraged, I just can't fathom someone loving their sin so much they would risk eternity in a devils hell for it.2.a)The fact is, they are so dogmatic about the "fact" of evolution, and don't have a shred of credible evidence to back it up with.In fact, the evidence points away from it.

There is only one God,I call the creator.
Many wars and wrong doings are done over the name of the creator.
I would suggest that you instead of questioning the name of the true God.
Go out to the religions who think the proper thing to do is kill all that don't believe as they do and convince them that you are right.
We are presently fighting a war over this very thing.
May God bless your journey.

Hi Garrett. God tells us we are to follow Him and Him only. It is very sinful to follow false Gods. God tells us in 2 John 1:7-11 that we should beware of those who want to deceive:

"For many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist... 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds."

There many people in the world who worship a God who they are comfortable with. They do not want to be judged. But the truth is we all will stand before the judgment seat of Christ (Romans 10) and those who are worshiping false Gods and follow false Gospels will be sent to Hell for eternity.
