I recently got out of a long-term relationship with my fiance (girlfriend) and am now 27 and single. All of the girls my age seem to either be with someone, or have kids (not ready to jump into that). I have my account on match.com has anyone had luck on dating websites?

I did have luck at one time. We dated for 8 months till he decided to continue doing online dating, without telling me..But it was a great way to meet someone. I dont' get out much so it was perfect for me..Now am back in the online dating world. Not many choices so far. Either live to far away or I'm not attracted to the pic. Great way though, good luck.

The man I have been dating now for 9 months I met on a dating site. I met him on mate1.com. It is free fpr women but men has to pay. We both knew we lived in the same city but what we didnt know is that he lived up the block from me. We thought that was too funny. We are both very happy and in love. I suggest you try it. Just be careful and use your best judegement with meeting people you dont know.

I met my wife on match.com. Got married in November of 05. Perfect person for me so far. I'm 46 as of now. Great place to meet women. Even if not your match, join for 6 months so you'll get a better rate and not feel pressured on the time. My brother met his wife on E harmony.

the prollem I have with dating websites is that guys have no clue as to how to post a picture that doesn't make them look like a bloated serial killer. guys what up!? I could hang w/someone who wasn't a gorgeous gorgeous guy if he has a good sense of humor & personality, but it's hard not to judge people by their pics first on those sites.
