Star In Different Languages

well between Urdu and Hind if u say in terms of meaning of words they are basically same . most of words used in Urdu has same meaning that used in Hindi . A person who knows either of two can easily understand the other . The basic reason behind this is that both of them were developed in India . But the most important difference between two is that Hindi is written in Devanagari script while Urdu in Arabic . At present day Hindi is national language in India and Urdu is national language of Pakistan And i do not think either of these languages are officially used in any other country else than India and Pakistan .

They are two different languages, but similar when spoken but still used in different areas. For example, Hindi is used in News mostly, as it is the national language. I think everyone agrees with that. Now Urdu, as surprising as it sounds is used in bollywood song. Not all bollywood songs but in MOST songs. Here is an example for clarification. Consider the song from movie "Kal Ho Na Ho", the title song which has the lyrics......"us haath ko tum thaam lo woh "MEHARBAAN" kal ho na ho". Now the word MEHARBAAN is an Urdu word, in Hindi we would use "SHUBCHINTAK". A recent example from the movie "Welcome" from song "Kiya Kiya".........the lyrics goes........"Tera SARAPA aisa hai HUMDUM." SARAPA is an Urdu word, and so is HUMDUM. In Hindi we would use "DRUSHIYA" for SARAPA and "JEEVANSAATHI" for HUMDUM. Like I said some song we use Hindi in and a very good example is the movie TERE NAAM title song. When it comes to common man, he neither speaks Hindi nor Urdu, but rather mix of both. Because when in Hindi news common people are being interviewed, they will speak a mix of both languages. In conclusion my final answer to your question is they are different but similar languages.

Star= tähti in Finnish
stjärna= in Swedish
Stern = in German
hoshi= in Japanese
zvezda=in Russian

These are in singular=star -not stars-because at least in Finnish the plural can have several forms, tha Russian could have other translitterations, the z is like the French j in journal,
the first vowel in the Finnish and Swedish words ä can also in some other languages be written ae together and pronounced like the a in the word flag, the
Swedish stj is pornounced like the sh in shake, the i in the Finnish word is pornounced like the i in rib-and the stress is on the 1st syllable like in all finnish words like Nokia
