is he like that around other people?
he thinks you're beautiful and is intimidated by you in person and talking on the phone and email makes it easier for him. you gotta gradually get him to warm up to you...tell him you want to make sure he is very comfortable around you and say you are concerned and just want him to feel like he can be himself.

Just give him some time he will come around and being shy does not make him a loser most guy's that are shy tend to be better lovers there not so full of themselves also you won't have to worry about him cheating on you. The more time you spend together the more the shyness goes away.

relationships are about being comfortable with each other in person. It sounds like he's not ready for one, I'm guessing your young? Just deal the best you can or break up, you can't make a shy person less shy around you, its something they have to do themselves.

give him time...with time he will be more open with u and if that doesn't happen then its because he doesn't trust u but it it normal 4 guys 2 be shy just give him time

hey! Just make your boyfriend comfortable and spend more time with him. Give him time. Hold his hand and walk around until he grab your hands.

then your boyfriend is just like me, i am shy in real life, and in the computer side, i am not shy. typical like me.
maybe you can convince him not to be shy in real life. thats what my brother would say.
