lol this is weird...Well I'm not fully religious but I sort of believe in god. Ahwile go I did a prayer asking for my girlfriend to be ok during her Chemistry exam (cause she's been ill, not been able to sleep etc so obviously would affect her performace + she's been busy with her job so did not have time to revise as much) after the exam she was convinced she failed, but she ends up with an A.
Lately she's been very ill, and last night I did a prayer asking if I could take her illness in her place, since I would be able to sleep it off (she can't sleep, long story) ...well tonight i;ve been feeling weak, and now I'm feeling kinda sick (it's impossible to catch what she has, anyway I have not been around her to do that)....I'm a bit spooked out about it. Do any people out there belive this could a answered prayer? Maybe I should do a prayer that Villa win the premiership? :D

self sacrifice is always a good prayer that is usually answered. " No greater love has no man but, to give his life for another" ---God.

While you can't rule out the possibility of this being divine intervention, it is far, far more likely to just be coincidence. The odds of a sequence of events along the lines of the one you describe arising by pure chance are actually quite high over your whole life.
A similar thing is often reported where someone thinks or dreams about a person they haven't seen for years, only to have that person phone them out of the blue the same day. Some people think this is evidence of a premonition, or just something spooky, but again the odds of this happening at some point are extremely high. We tend to remember the times our premonitions prove to be true, or our prayers are answered, and ignore the times when they aren't.

As much as it pains me to even begin posting in the religon section... I guess I'm about to anyway, if only to provide a counterpoint to the number of pro religious "faith is everything...just because it is" posts that your going to recieve.
Now the way I see it is, you can believe either of the following, and whichever you choose to belive is up to you.
The first option is that god, for some perverse reason chose to punish you girlfriend for no apparent reason by tormenting her with illness and then insomnia right before an importnat set of exams. Shortly after this needless act of vindictiveness god then decided to listen your prayers (which were themselves spawned by his earlier needless torture of you beloved) and transfered the pain and discomfort felt by her on to you, hereby allowing her to complete her exams in peace.
The second option you may choose to believe is that your worry about you GF's physical well being has been playing on your mind, you care about her enough for her to be in your thoughts even when you have not spent any time together physically. This in turn has led to you being particullarly anxious about her well being at the moment and has led to you having a somewhat disrupted sleep pattern. After a few weeks of this you are now finding yourself run down and in less than tip-top condition.
I'm not about to go telling you which is right or wrong as there is a myriad of options in between these two examples, any or none of which may be true. I merely wished to provide you with a counter point to the answers which you are likely to recieve.

The Creator gives many of us hints or signs that He exist and listens to our prayer. As soon as we realise, we should be thankful to Him and spend more time to seek His forgiveness and grace.
To know Him better we can read an corrupted version of a heavenly book like the Quran. If we read the Quran we would also know what was originally written in Injil, the original form of today's bible, and that was in Torah, the book that was revealed to Moses (peace be upon him).
Along with our knowing and remembering the Creator, to deepen our belief we can also invite others to the faith in the Creator, Who begets none nor is He begotten.
As the Creator is the One and Only One and the Unique, He has ordained only one way of life to be followed by us. May God give us all the light.

God doesn't make deals like that......It's very likely a bit of empathy because you've been so concerned about her. Keep praying....and trust in the Lord.
Ha Ha Ha.... maybe you could pray for your team to come to the Lord? I don't know if that would help them in the premiership though.

Good question. This sort of thing has happened to me as well. I believe it was coincidence, b/c God is interested in offering us Much Better things.

i'd say faith, because of the fact twist of fate to me makes it sound like its no longer that substantial and it handed off via twist of fate. yet faith to me sounds like it replaced into meant to take place so because it incredibly is why i've got faith in faith.

Nice going. There are many ways to intercede
on behalf of someone. Every one creates his/her own life, but sometimes they need to 'borrow' the faith you have in them, in order to jump start their own process.
Yes, ideas are contagious and symptoms will often transfer between those that are close.
You have nothing to be afraid of. Experiment and learn about it. These are important developments, meant to aid in your evolution.
(by the way, it's not god, it's us)
