I don't think he can legally "take" the baby unless he can prove that you are an unfit mother. ( Finacially unable to care for the child, or would put the baby at risk for due to poor living conditions, etc) If none of this is true, he may want to take the baby, but I doubt the law will allow for it.
Hope that helps!

Well, that is tough. Sounds pretty sticky to me. The first thing I would do, is STOP seeing him. When the baby is born, on the birth certificate when they ask about the father put unknown. I will tell you why, if he does decide to take you to court for the baby, he will have to prove paternity. Which means he will have to pay for it. But honestly, it sounds like he is scared that you will tell his wife about your affair. I don't think he really wants the responsibility of being a dad.

unless he can prove that you are an unfit mother, he can't take the baby. not only that, why would he even try? it's not like he can go home with a baby and say "look what i have honey!" his wife would flip out.

Legally he can’t take the baby. You are the mother, he is not you boyfriend or husband so you don’t have to worry about that. Have the baby and be happy
