No, I wouldn't want to live forever and yes I can except death.
We are all part of the passing scene and each of us begins and ends the journey in our own time.

Why do you assume everyone wants to live forever? That is not always the case. I would hope most people realize that death's schedule is very much different than that of most people. Death comes to those that least expect it. It is something to embrace, not fear. I, for one, am curious as to what really happens, but not enough to jump in head first, so to speak.

How can I accept death if I want to live forever. I'm going to make a compromise at some point.

I don't have a choice as I have an immortal soul. My only choice is where do I want to be after the body dies. I have chosen heaven as hell is the alternative and too horrible to contemplate.
God Incarnate came to Earth in human form and by His death and resurrection bought me the chance to choose my destiny after I die. Why wouldn't I want to go to a place that is too wonderful to imagine. The sooner, the better as I am sick of this planet.

expect or accept??
I have no fear of death. I heard Elisabeth Kubler-Ross speak once, and I believe her. It seems those who believe in heaven & hell are the most afraid to die.
No do not want to live forever. 70 or 100 years is hard enough. I'll be ready to rest...whatever that is.
Trust me, we all are going to die some day.

Currently there is no possibility of living forever, whatever we may desire to the contrary, and, unless one is very young or science is upon the verge of discovering the legitimate key to our earthly immortality, we are all going to die eventually and will have to accept that reality at some point. There are no options...

You mean "accept" Death, not except. Except means you exclude, or leave out, Death.
It's pointless to want to live forever, since no one ever has and never will.
Now is all that matters.

Accepting death is one thing. Why do some have to live their life in pain and misery and wish for death but it doesn't come. Only more pain more misery more medical bills and treatments.

Do you mean "accept" death? Life everlasting is a concept that many people understand. It gives comfort and hope that in the "long run" harmony will finally be reached.
