He asked if anyone had ever really seen a monkey, and you know what.. Nobody had ever seen one.. So, I was wondering, is it a sin to believe in monkeys since they are not in the Bible?

Why would a pastor, and I assume he is educated, make such an ignorant comment about "satanic deception propagated by the media"? If this were any way true, what is to stop 'god' or the christians from propagating their deception? Watch National Geographic channel (or Discovery, or Animal Planet) and look for the hairy primates, it is not a sin to open your eyes.

That is one crazy question. Monkey's DO exist! Are you nuts!?!? Of course they exist. Your pastor is wrong on this. I am a Bible-believing Christian and I think that your pastor is very wrong. Just because a certain animal isn't mentioned in the Bible doesn't mean that it doesn't exist!

lol, Ok, that's a bit absurd. No offense, because I'm a Christian, but a lot of animals aren't specifically mentioned in the Bible, that doesn't mean they are deceptions of Satan. Are elephants in the Bible? are giraffes? God doesn't specifically name all animals that were taken into the ark by Noah, that doesn't mean that they aren't real.
