Is this form of harassment. I rented out my condominium yet she found a way to mail me a letter to my new place.

I am so tired of her harassment.

IDK about suing her, but you can definately call the police and report her harrassment. Stalking is illegal in many states, and what she is doing may be against the law. She doesn't have to like you (or you, her) but there is no reason to pile abuse on another human being.

Have any and all communications from her in your possession when you contact the authorities. Tape all phone calls, save all letters, record any and all times she accosts you in public. The more information/evidence you have when you call the authorities, the better.

Don't let anybody talk you out of standing up for your rights, either. You have the right to be treated with respect, as all humans do. It isn't wrong to demand such a simple thing. It is her responsibility (and yours, of course) to act in a civilized fashion.

Be safe.

This is a form of harassment but I have a feeling this is not the entire story. Why don't you have the police come out to your home/condo and file a report with them and they might go have a word with her and it might be enough to put a stop to it. However, I don't think that suing her is the answer. Unless you have money to burn, I would just ignore her and eventually she will get tired and leave you alone. Remember it is very hard to argue with someone if they (being you) do not respond. Sounds like both of you need to do some growing up!! Good luck and try to turn the other cheek, surely you are a better person than this.

Honey, in this day and age, you can sue if your hamburger isn't made the right way. But rather than tie up the legal system with this, take it a step in the right direction. Next time you get one of her letters, simply write "RETURN TO SENDER, NO SUCH PERSON AT THIS ADDRESS" on the envelope. She knows you live there, and it'll piss her off to no end to see that you didn't even care to read the nasty words she spent so much time writing. If you do it enough, eventually she'll get bored and move on to someone else to pick on.

Sorry to see you are going through this...but not everyone is a good egg. Don't let her control you by reacting to these letters, it'll just encourage her to do more.

Take all the letters to the attorney and make sure that the dates are noted. This will show a time frame in which she has actually been writing you. This is definitely harassment. Just for your documentation, write her a letter and state to her that you want her letters to you to cease. Then make a copy of your letter. You will have solid proof that you are being harassed.

If a person wastes a stamp and envelope on calling you a B**ch, you either deserve it,.. or she's crazy and deserves whatever's coming to her! Suing is "Soo California", if you've tried a little face to face, or at least confronted the issue in person, then I guess if you can some how put a Dollar amount on the "Trauma" her "B**ch letters have caused you, then sue, but it's a stupid last resort, there's other methods to solve it, maybe threaten to sue her and see what happens.

If you have kept all the correspondence in its original form , I'd take to a lawyer or the DA or the Crown Attorney and ask if you have grounds for harassment and stalking.

It certainly would seem that you have grounds especially for stalking since you moved and she still found out your address.

BTW have you done anything to her to incur this treatment?

Are you forgetting to tell us why she is doing this to you,you had to do something to her people just don't harass for no reason do they? The only reason I would do something like that is if you and my husband was fooling around other then that there is no reason to act that way unless your just crazy. If I were you I would go to the police I'm sure something can be done to stop what she is doing.

Check with the District Attorney's office in your city. This could be stalking. As far as I know stalking is a pretty serious offense these days. Be sure to save all of the letters she writes and any other information you have. Making daily notes of what happens (be sure to date them) will help also.

This is definitely harassment and should not be tolerated. You may need an order of protection or something similar. I'd start by asking the police what can be done.

I don't know about suing her but you can definitely have her arrested. She is harassing you. Keep all the letters she is sending, call the police and file a report.
