Should I apply moisturizer first and THEN the Tret cream? I am using it to help with fine lines. What is the best moisturizer for fine lines that wont make me break out? I am new the whole thing. Thanks!

I usually put on the Retin A, then a little moisturizer over that.
If you haven't used it before, you will probably turn red like a sunburn the first time. Let that heal and apply again. Soon, your body will get used to it and not react.
If you are paying full price for it, here is an excellent site to buy it online: http://www.inhousepharmacy.com/skin-care/retino-a.html

I get it from there all the time. No shipping charges.

Also, if you have any brown spots on your hands, Retin A is good to lighten them. If you have scaly spots like those pre-cancerous ones, Preparation H will remove them in a few weeks. It is actually the hydrocortisone in Prep H, but is easier for most people to remember that way. A doctor that I work with told me that. I was skeptical, but it actually works.

The anti-aging product is applied before the moisturizer. This product can be fantastic, but don't overuse it. Your skin can only get so good. When it's good and glowing (depending on your skin, maybe after 2 to 4 weeks of use) stop use for a week.

Signs to look for: Little red bumps that look like acne, but are actually chemical irritation bumps. Nothing comes out of them. They fool you because there may be only two or three of them, so you think acne, because it would seem logical that if it were a product reaction, it would be more widespread, more of them. Not with me. When I get them it means my skin is saturated and doesn't want anymore product for a while.

Gage your skin. You may consider using these products every other day.

I used Retin-A type products for about two months, then went on to gentler products.

Retin A is also used as a chemical peel for fine lines. I tried it, hated the dry, red skin I got. I couldn't put on enough moisturizer to cover the peeling skin.
