i play softball. i have birth defects in my shoulders. the tendons are too long so my shoulders slip half way out of place. i can control the slip. but 1 day my left slipped and i felt a sharp pain. this has been about 2 weeks. it still hurts. could i have torn something? or maybe just over stretched the tendon?

you could have torn something, but it's most likely that you just stretched a tendon (which can still be very painful). make sure you ice it a lot and take anti-inflamatories. if you can get the inflamation down, it'll help it heal faster. but you should probably go see a doctor.

Sounds like you overstretched the tendon. Tendons take a long time to heal.

Get better soon!

Rolder Cuff, I can't spell but it's a torn ligament,You will feel pain until it heals completely. You really should protected against more
damage.I have had my shoulder hurt for as long as a year,so it's up to you if you want it to heal, stop throwing ball.
