Recently a friend of mine got an ear infection caused by frequent manual cleaning. All I know he used cotton-buds but I guess he went too deep and it might have scratched some tissues in the ear that makes it easily infected. Now he has this phobia of cleaning his ear on his own and let the ear cleanse itself automaticaly...but how long will that take? One thing's for sure no one has the will to bear for long knowing the amount of ear wax thickening in your ear...

YOU'RE EARS NORMALLY TAKE CARE OF THEY'RE SELVES'S.
THAT'S WHY THEY PRODUCE THE EAR WAX. EAR WAX IS A GERM KILLER, AND IT HELPS KEEP BUGS OUT. SOME TIMES WHEN YOU USE COTTON TIPS, SOME OF THE COTTON STAYS IN THE EAR CANAL AND ROTS. THIS CAUSES AN INFECTION. UNLESS YOU'RE EARS PRODUCE TO MUCH WAX AND TEND TO STOP UP THE CANAL, JUST LEAVE THEM ALONE. OR LET A DR. CLEAN THEM.
