RECYCLE, REUSE, AND RENEW !!!!!! Good for you. Not only are you being environmentally responsible but you are also saving money! I agree with almost everything the others said but not the "add a string" you need to use a wick, you can buy them in a dollar store. You can also use essential oil to make scented candles, just add it when the wax is melted before it starts to harden.

Take an empty coffee can & bend the side like a spout (it's easier to pour out afterward)

Fill up a pot with water (pot needs to be larger then the can)

Put the old candle or candle pieces in the coffee can

Put the can in the water, in the pot

Boil the water

The wax will melt & pour into a new mold thru the spout

Good Luck!

A clear pyrex 4-cup measuring cup is great because you can put it into a warm oven until the wax is melted and then it has a pour spout which makes it easy to pour into the candle molds (insert wicks into the molds first). Some re-used waxes work better than others. Bees wax, or a mixture of bees wax and other wax, works best.

add some water to a pot and put another pot on top of it like a double broiler and put the old wax into the pot on top and slowly melt the wax when it gets melted pour it into your candle container and get some wicks and hold them in place alot of times u can put the wick on a pen or pencil that way u wont have to stand there and make them one by one

Use a double boiler pot place candles inside to melt down, and pour wax into candle molds. I'm thinking they may not have as strong scent .

You put the candles in a pan on the stove over a low heat they will melt and then you can put them in whatever you want and they will harden and shape as soon as they cool down..
