John 17:14 "I have given ur word to them, but the world has hated them because they are no part of the world, just as I am no part of this world."

As true followers of Christ, we are no part of the world, meaning we take no part in the political affairs of the world, especially war. As true Christians, we have brothers and sisters all across the world. We wouldn't want to bomb areas where christian brothers and sisters live, nor support the war in any way. This is not loving.

Rom. 13:1"Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorites, for there is no authority excdept by God." This means ththat Christians still are to obey the law, because these laws are a protection for us. Obeying the speed limits can help us not to get in a serioius accident, and other laws that protect us from being harmed by others, serves as a protection for us.

Acts 5:29 "We must obey God as ruler rather than men"
When the law goes against Jehovah's laws then, we will obey God as ruler rather than men.

P.S. Also we know that putting our faith in human governments is futile, humans have ruled humans to destruction and cannot bring about real changes on the earth, regardless of their efforts, we just don't have the power, only Jehovah God does, and he will.

Ecc.8:9 Man has dominated man to his injury
Psalms 146:3 Do not put ur trust in nobles, nor in the sons of earthling men, to whom no salvation belongs.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
