braid it at night, or when it's damp, that will give you waves.
If you really want permanent go ahead and go to a salon and get a perm, just research which kind you want (tight curls or loose barrel curls).
You could scrunch it or tie it up in rags, or do the traditional curl it yourself.
These are some suggestions. Hope it helps

1. Go get a perm for curly hair.
2. Buy curlers and curl your hair.
3. Buy a curling iron and curl your hair.
4. Go to a salon and get your hair curled.
5. Deal with your flat hair.
Good luck!

I used to curl my hair, but I got tired of doing that, so I decided that since I was blessed with straight hair that so many other people wanted anyway, I might as well be thankful for it and enjoy it. I have heard of a shampoo which is called Wash 'N Curl or Wash and Curl, but I've never tried it. The Vermont Country Store Catalog sells Spoolies which are curlers that are supposed to be easy to sleep in. Hot rollers are bad for your hair and so are perms. I stopped doing those things also.

I would suggest getting a perm, or braiding your hair a lot to make sharp waves that look curly. I bet a hair stylist could get you the look you want! Good Luck!

if you are using over the counter products such as pantene herbal essense etc. DONT. they cause build up which will weigh your hair down.go to a salon and get a clarifying shampoo.that will help remove build up.also buy professional shampoos and conditioners.i can't stress that enough. *** if your hair is straight you can buy a waving iron from most beauty supply stores.

you could always go with a perm but personally i dont prefer them to much so i'd just buy some hair body shampoo to put some uplift in it then just try curling it with in curls with and iron and see how that turns out

AH! A sister! (lol)
Here are somethings that i've tried.
1. To give ur hair volume, flip your head so that ur looking at ur stomach, then blow-dry, that should give you volume. (UR HAIR HAS TO BE WET!)
2. When you put curlers in your hair, spray them with hair spray INDIVIDUALLY!!
3. Or just get a perm, (Don't recommend it!)
Because, it causes major damage to ur hair!
