How can I drink more alcohol without having it mess me up? I don't want answers that say: Don't drink a lot. When I go out with my friends, usually I can't handle that much, and I would like to. How? Thanks

the only way really is just to drink a lot. eventually your body gets used to it. but why are you letting that bother you so much? is it really that big of a deal that you can drink more than anyone else?

when you get to college you'll be glad you're a light weight anyway. i wish i was still. it's cheaper that way haha! and less calories. and it's better for your liver. ok, it's better all around just not to drink as much.

Even though this is kind of a dumb question because there's no good reason to WANT to overindulge in alcohol if you can feel the effects from just a little bit...

I think he's looking for an answer like this:

I read in a natural cures book once that if you eat cabbage before drinking, you won't get as drunk.

Have a hearty meal before you go out - something with carbs and fat. Skillet potatoes area good one.

Also, during the course of the evening, drink enough water. Yes, I know, you want to drink alcohol, but you'll be able to take more of it if you don't dehydrate. So make sure that at least every third drink you order (later on, better every other drink) is a glass of water.

Why do you have to drink a lot? What are you proving to yourself and to them? Ten or twenty years from now will it be something you are proud of or will it even seem important? Too much alcohol can cause bad judgment and even be fatal.
Most people just follow the crowd. You are an individual. Don't be afraid to be the best person you can be. Remember that the choices you make now can affect you---and others---for the rest of your life.

It takes time over a period of yrs. to build up a tolerance --but for a short quick fix eat a really good meal before going out drinking. And u can always get ur drinks and pour some out in the flower pots, etc. I think it's good u can't drink a lot --that is ur body's way of rejecting poison actually. but I understand peer pressure so fake them out --sip , don't gulp--and behind their backs pour some out --lol-let them get the DWI's and all the **** that comes along with too much alcohol.

Ok..I won't tell you "Don't drink alot"

I will tell you...GET NEW FRIENDS!

If you have to drink several drinks to fit in with your buddies, you are obviously hanging with the wrong crew.
Maybe your so-called friends who like to get stone drunk, will someday be another cross on the roadway from drinking and driving. Maybe your friends will end up in jail, or sick years from now their livers shot to hell.

But hey if you want to drink it up, go ahead buddy. They have some herbal remedys to prevent you from getting hangovers, but thats about it. There is really nothing to help you drink more without acting like an ***. You can help lessen the effects of alcohol though by eating when you drink.

Good Luck!

get a good meal in your gut it will absorb some of the alcohol. Dont drink when you are tired or in a bad mood. Before you drink think about how you will behave, try to remain sober in your mind. Pace yourself, dont drink to much at once. Dont drink and drive. Enjoy.

You could eat before. Slow down the digestion... eat breads and stuff to soak it up.

Not sure why you want to... the more you drink, the more you will need to later. being a light drinker and still getting the same effect is something to be proud of... nto embarassed. Alcohol is horrible for you... if you can get by with less... why go more?

Drink more booze! Make a fool of yourself! Develop tolerance to alcohol! Get liver disease! Hope it's worth it.
Be happy that you are saving money when you go out. Drinks are expensive!
