We are the volunteers of Haight Ashbury Food Program which was founded in 1983 as a neighborhood response to serve the meals for hunger such as homeless and unemployment. HAFP's mission is to support the principle that freedom from hunger is a right, not a privilege. Using plastic aprons is not only a big expenditure to us but also cause a lot of problems for environment. We are now looking for some better substitute for the plastic aporns. Old clothing aprons will be the best choice. If you deicde to change your clothing aporns, please do not throw the old ones into the rabbish bin. We would be very appreciated if you could be kind enough to donate them to us. Any individual or organization which is interested in the donation for old clothing aprons. plz contact the number or email to the address as follows: Cell Phone:(1)415-3090-539 Email: zenith1020@hotmail.com More information about Haight Ashbury Food Program, plz browse our website at http://www.thefoodprogram.org Thank You!

I don't think I've used an apron since childhood, and I'm 50 years old. Many people don't have old aprons to give away!

Why not ask local people to make aprons for you, and both local and Internet people to buy you inexpensive aprons? I'm sure many 99-cent and discount stores sell aprons. Ebay carries some cheap aprons, and so might Amazon.com.

People, the website www.thefoodprogram.org has a mailing address. Why not buy some cloth aprons and send them?

I'm low on money now, but perhaps I'll do this as soon as I can!
