because mines has a tear in it and i dont know what its called or can i just plug it up with something like a sealant of some sort. plz help

it's a smaller hose, about half an inch in size and it connects to the intake manifold down to the coolant system. thanks

It's called the upper coolant line. You must replace it and my experience cries you must replace them both (upper and lower), then have a pessure check performed.

If it's larger than 2 inches it's likely your upper radiator hose with the thermostat at the end. It runs hot and under pressure so no sealant will work. Replace it.
