There is a school dance coming up and I really want to engage in some conversations with girls, maybe dance, but I am really nervous around girls and I barely know any of them, since I go to an all boys school.

1. First off dont just walk up to a girl and try and start a conversation at random. If this is your path you will want to start by simply knowing friends outside of this dance. (the fact that you go to an all boys school doesnt make this any easier but hey at least your not gay.)
You must know at least one guy with girlfriends. (Girl Friends)
Get him to set somthing up like a trip to the movies. This gives you a great oppritunity to talk to them. (Try not to do it in the movie though most girls hate that)
Like after the movie just casually start somthing about the movie and most likly everyone will join in. Also it is that likely because of your shy type of nature one girl might develope a crush on you.
Do this often until your comfortable around girls and can alter your path in any way you wish.

2. Your crazy, insane, and kool around the ladies. You must have alot of patience with your pride. Because in this path you will simply walk up to a girl casually and start talking. ever seen the movies?
"Hey ladies! Whats crackin."
but theres when the patience with pride comes in. In this path, its likely you will be rejected, ALOT. Some girls just dont like this.

....im not sure about your school but in mine... we have giant circles of people about 3 (lol) and in the middle 1, 2 or 3 people are dancing inside takin turns and junk.

I dont know if your dances are like that... i really doubt it but if it is you can just stand in one of those circles and when someone steps out get in and dance.

if its not like that, just find a girl you like, and immatate the first path and put on your shy act. "hey um d-d-d-do you like um well um do you wanna dance?"
Obviously dont pick someone whos at the dance with someone. that will be a disaster waiting to happen.

just go up and talk to them, or if your in line for concessions or something talk to them. but dont' act all creepy and say weird things cause thats just dumb. you have to be confident because otherwise we'll just ignore you!
i'm sure all the girls are wanting you to talk to them so just do it! i love it when a guy has the guts to ask me to dance!

just stop seeing girls different. if you think that you are going to talk to a person not a girl you will be more relax and less nervous. and also do not think that they have to like you or something... just talk as a friend

u need to get over the nervs. who cares what she does. talk with her, and if she likes u, then she likes u. u cant change nething. and u will probably keep liking her until u see if she likes u or not. and that means u have to take a chance. good luck!

You know i used to be afraid to talking to guys but then I just started to act like myself and flirt with them a lot... So i guess what you should do is be your self and partie hardie with the gurls....Also what I like is when guys tell me stuff about there stuff and when they listen to my stuff....So just talk to the gurls!
