You know what, I did feel sorry for her. I used to watch the Jim and Tammy Bakker show. I was a single mom then and had a lot of sad days. Tammy would say things that would inspire me to carry on with my kids and not get depressed, then she would sing the most uplifting songs. Poor soul her eye makeup would be running down here face and I would start to cry too. I know they made some terrible mistakes but she made me feel better at a hard time of my life. So, yeah, I felt bad for her. I wouldn't wish cancer on anybody.

I also hadn't heard that. It is part of living in a sin-fallen world that we all die. Cancer can be a difficult way to go, but God can give her the grace to face this and can do what he wants to do in this circumstance. The rest of us will all die as well, so like Tammy Fay, we need to be ready for that event. May God bless her in this time.

I was no sadder than I would be for any other human who got cancer. At least she lived to a ripe old age. What about all the llitle kids who get cancer and die without ever getting the chance to live? If you want to feel sorry for anybody, feel sorry for them, not Tammy Faye Baker.

I felt badly about it. And then I watched this series on Sundance Channel called "One Punk Under God." It is a show about her son, Jay Bakker, and his church. Watching his interactions with her and how sweet she was and what a hard time she was having were really moving. I'd really recommend it to anyone. It's a short series - only about 6 episodes and it's on my cable station "on demand".
Her sons ideas about Christianity are really neat too.

I feel for her because Cancer sucks for anyone. It is an equal opportunity killer. That eye makeup is actually tattooed to her eyelids.

I actually didn't know that she had cancer, but that is very sad. I hope she gets well, and that it's a treatable version of it...

And she sowed (spent) a LOT of other peoples money.
No I do not feel sorry for her at all.
