i don;t think anyone likes me. im 13 and i want a bf but my friends told me that if i get a bf it will be amazing bc they don't think im that pretty. but there bitches. i no it was a good choice to ditch them i no but i want one without them telling the world and start rumors.

Megan, your not alone! Just know that! If your friends tell you your not pretty, maybe it's because they aren't really your friends and never were. True friends don't treat each other that way! It's usually the TRULY beautiful girls with hearts of gold who get treated that way by other pretty but nasty snotty girls who weren't raised to see past someones outside appearances. When your a young woman in today's world, it sure is hard. Hard to thrive sometimes and older people forget what it's like sometimes. If you don't have a boyfriend, it has nothing to do with your looks imo. It has more to do with maybe your self esteem being low right now and who could blame you. Middle school isn't much fun with all this immature teasing and picking and mean things some stupid immature people say. When the time is right, it will happen and everyone has their own time and place for everything so untill that day, just keep being the same sweet you Megan!

Girl anyone can get a boyfriend. Looks do not matter. It's the personality that counts. And seems like your friends are jealous of you. Look at them closely and look at yourself. There is something about you they do not like. When I was your age I used to get teased and called names and when I see those same people now they look like a bunch of worn out dogs and I am 38 and look 23 and Do you know why? Because I keep myself closed in because of all the teasing even when I got a boyfriend. And the sun and all those things that can harm you didn't get to me. Know I look young and they look like the ugly ducklings. LOL-HEHE But 13 is too young to be thinking about a boyfriend because knowing that they call you names boys will try and use you-sexually that is. So put that off until you mature and get you education first. At least a High School Diploma and I guarantee you will be beautiful because you will be a young LADY and they will respect that you waited for the right moment instead of the right guy. U answered your own question but you just dont know it.
There is an old saying that goes like this....
'birds of a feather flock together'.
this means that if your old friends were (as you say) 'bytches' then any guy who might have been interested in you might have thought that you were one too!
It will take awhile for your reputation reformation to catch up with the rest of the school. In the mean time, do your best to smile and say hello to EVERYONE! If there are boys that are kinda goofy or shy, say hello to them too! GOOD LUCK

its good you ditched them so called friends but maybe you can find guy friends. Having guy friends is the same thing only its less stressful. its just a guys being your friends. They will be jealous that you can relate to these guys and Yet you got to be careful cause someone could look at it the wrong way. But Just be freindly with everyone and everyone will be your friend and they would be regretting for calling you not pretty.

For one you are only thirteen and using that language, that is unattractive anyway and your only thirteen. PLus your friends like the make you feel bad so they feel better about their selves and another thing if you look to hard you are going to get a desperate guy that wont last long. wait and it will happen sooner than you think. dont look for love because love will find you. I'm 19 and gettin married in June and I was engaged 2 weeks after dating this guy good luck honey!

life is all about priorities. Is having a boyfriend at 13 really a priority?
The more you think about having a boyfriend the more likely you will end up with someone you don't want to be with. Just have fun and a boy will turn up one day in your life.

Whoa. . . take it easy now. You're only 13, and you have High School ahead of you. Make responsible decisions and present yourself as a sophisticated but friendly girl and you'll get yourself a guy.
But don't rush into any sort of relationship, partiularly at your age. As for your friends judgemental and rude remarks, ignore them. If they're other females they're just making those remarks because they naturally feel in competition with you.

You know what?Your friends aren't really your friends if they say you aren't pretty. What you need to do is put yourself out there and not be like other girls. If you really like someone don't tell them right away until you know you like them or they like you. Also, highlight your best features. Like your eyes or your cheek bones(or your boobs...lol), or even your legs. Don't revile too much to your friends, they might back stab you and tell EVERYONE!!! Someone out there thinks you are worth it. And if you flaunt your stuff you will get the guy you want. Just remember guys are CONFUSING!!!

sounds like you have some personal issues and you shouldn't need a boyfriend especially at 13. eventually you will find someone and be happy but probably not for a while yet. you really have some personal problems and need to deal with those first.
