OK.

The stress over this is just as bad as the noise, both of those will keep you awake.

You are perfectly entiltled to phone the police on their non-emergency line and make a complaint, the police will NOT say who said the complaint.

This will give you something positive to do against it and help with the stress.

For the noise, put some of your own music at a low level, this will actually help more than trying to shut out all noise.

Hope that helps

I feel sorry for you as my neighbours have woken me up too and know exactly how you feel.. I got woken up at 1.50am by my 1 year old son as his bedroom wall is next to our neighbours bedroom wall and they have been arguing for ages. This woke him up so when I got him back to sleep, I am now wide awake as they are still arguing and their dog is also barking. It drives me mad, especially when she complains when my 1 year old wakes her up if he cries in the night. Lucky for me I aint working tomorrow, but will still be up at about 7am with the kids Argh....

Yep defiantly keep a diary of times dates etc, because in the end you will have to phone the police or the A.S.B.O.team and you will have evidence to support your complaint.

sounds like you should keep a log of the noise, and report to the police / council etc. It is Friday night though, but they should be more considerate durig the week.

Put them ear plugs in your ears and dont have sleeping tablets cos you wont wake up in morning. and Police wont do anything about noise anyway.

earplugs, moving to another location if possible, not just from room to room. make sure your room is dark. Try playing soothing music loud enough to help drown the bums out.
