Shouldn't we be fascinated and delighted and inspired by what the power of unthinking evolution can produce, rather than disappointed that we're not the special creation of a mythical deity?

I like the idea that the gorilla and I share common ancestors.
I like those ancestors a lot more than my uncle. What a bore.
I find the fact that we evolved into the amazing creatures we are much more compelling than the idea we were somebody's mud pies.

Are you just one of those guys that write something down in here just to get some approval for their opinions? If you are, don't worry, you're not alone, there are tons of you!
But, it must be clear to you that evolution is not real, it does not happen and all of the evidence for it are liable and false!
How does that do it for you?

Fascinated, inspired, delighted, empowered... Think of how much we've learned already... give us another hundred years and we may have some answers we never thought we could... cures to new diseases, regrowth of lost body parts or functions, or just general improvement of the species as a whole...
