What are your reasons for belief?

I believe in God b/c I am saved
I believe in God b/c I have been healed
I believe in God b/c he has always been there
I believe in God b/c I have a personal relationship with him
I believe in God b/c he sent his son to die for me
I believe in God b/c when I tried to run from him and do things my own way he softly reached out and gracefully lead me back to his will. He never fails me, he never makes me feel insignificant, he makes me feel safe, he never gave up on me.
I believe in God b/c I don't owe him anything for his love
I believe in God b/c he is the same for me as he is for everyone
I believe in God b/c he is the same today, yesterday and forever

I believe in God simply because he is there. How many people just sit around and hide behind atheism because they are afraid of having to follow another set of rules. Its foolish that people believe that we came to existence by chance.
Besides that, as a real Christian (not a religious person, but a faithfull follower) God moves in your life. There is no way I could ever become a non believer, even if I fell from grace I would still believe because of the answered prayers, and the all times I felt his presence.

It’s the easiest way out.. jus believing in something even though you don’t “know” it. Just look around you, all the misery and suffering people going through. If there is a omnipotent god is he the person who created all these wars, diseases, pedophiles, and rapists? One can say “you know devil or saten did it” then dose the devil has more power over gods work? Or did god make a mistake? Why should I believe I some one who cant even show up. bottom line is I don’t believe in god, I believe in my self.

hen you see the trees swaying, you know that there is a breeze there. When you see rain, you cant see it in the clouds, but its there. Same thing with God. When a physical object is there in front of you, you can touch it, feel it, but no mental or metaphysical contact. Faith is what we are talking about, we may not see God, but in your Heart and Brain, you feel Him. You know when you're doing bad, you know when you're doing good. What is that? When I found my youngest daughter dead, I freaked, my wife did also. We bowed our heads, we asked God to comfort us , but don't take away the pain.........instantly, we both got goose-bumps all over our bodies at the same time. Do you know the scientific odds of that happening? In the Zillions! But, you see, my wife and I have Faith that God is watching us. And it is His way of letting us know that all is going to be OK. Belief is Love, and Love is Faith. God Bless !!

I BELIVE IN GOD because he is the creator of the Heavens and earth and everything in it.He is the frist and the last and the only.Abba Father .In the beginning was the word and the word was GOD. The reason i belive is that by GOD'S grace he forgaved me of all my sin and he saved me by his grace and he threw all of my sins into the river of forgetfulness never to remember again.is'nt that just like our heavely father?i love with all my heart soul spirit and mind i would not go back on him for nothing.

I have had experiences where it had to be God in my life and he has shown me the way to go. He is a comfort when I'm down and a joy when life good. Trust in him and great things will happen for you. Next life eternal why take a chance because we are not promised tomorrow my bags are packed are yours ??

Energy bits and forces. The energy is not
the forces. The Force is not the energy.
Which just might explain why science

I don't believe, I know. I also believe it is a person's personal/private decision whether or not to believe and one that does not require participation in organized religion to prove your belief.

Well I do not know myself, because i am scared to death of dying, and I just want make sure i will be in the right place when i die, gotta think ahead you know. My christian friend told me to just believe and i did, don't know why, but he told me too. And i see everyone else is doing it, so i figured why not, i do not want to be left behind, that would not be very business like now would it. And i pray and god said i am cool and stuff, so hey, i got it made.

He constantly speaks to my heart. Things keep happening that answer my prayers. The Bible seems wise beyond human capabilities. And unbelievers continually mention what a happy person I am and wonder where that's coming from.
