...how long did it take for you to recover?
How much tissue did they remove? Did you ever return to "regular"? Was it for Crohn's disease? Are you on any medication?

Well... they took around 18" of my large intestines... it was from a partial blockage and a large lump that was getting infected and was causing me lots of problems... took me a little longer to recover because of a bunch of incisional hernias that went right down the incision down the middle of my stomach... another operation after that and I was lots better... am not on any meds for that.
When the docs tell you not to lift over a certain weight, I heartily recommend that you follow their directions...
