I've had it neat, and I've had it on ice--everyone seems to have their own opinion! I'd like to know the traditional way to drink ouzo because I'm really fond of the smell and taste of anise. Thanks!

Myself, I like it over ice.But I'm pretty sure the traditional is neat.

The traditional way to drink it is to drink as a shooter and light it on fire first. Have fun!

I have seen it taken with a little cold water added - so it turns white.
