ANT or SPIDER ??

I just wanted to tell Albertine that cleverer IS a word. It doesnt sound right, I know, but it is in the dictionary nonetheless.
As for the question; Ants do work as a team, and they dont even mind being farmed. But a spider can spin beautiful web which catches their food.
I don't recall ever seeing an ant do that.

why?
well, there are certain facts, and FACTS i must repeat, that indulges me to think that an ANT is more clever than Spider....
here are some:
*they are wise ENGINEERS
they can build SECURE territories (they burrow deep into Mother Earth's womb to have safe fortress..... on the contrary, a spider's web can easily be torn with mere physical contact ;) )
* they are LEADERS
they have a government of "res publicas" or public interest
* they are MUSKETEERS
they stand still with "one for all and all for one"
* they are HEROES
they set good example to everyone (remember the fable about an ant and a grasshopper?)
*and best of all , they obey God's command ( well, for the Queen ant primarily) , which is "Go forth and Multiply" ^_^

That's a good queston, But I must say Spiders, cause thay trap the insects thay eat, and the differant types of weds thay use for these traps. Ants are vary diligent and work well in a group, but thay are basically scavengers. So Spiders win.

Spider they lay a trap (the web ) and wait for dinner to come to them . The ant goes out searches then has to drag it home.

ants, i hate spiders
plus ants can go the distance and accomplish anything as long as they work together. spiders might do cool tricks, but ants are clever and smart.
wisdom is our strongest weapon.

Ant; because they work together and can actually carry off just about anything, at any weight because they work together. They even lay down and build bridges together for their fellow ants to cross! Plus, they eat good food. Spiders eat other bugs... yuck!

spider because ants waste their time serving their queen while spiders can easily catch their food strategically using a web.

an ant like army ants which hunt in millions and eat anything in their path they form communities to live in tend to a queen and fight to protect their homes and other ants
