As you were probably told, one of the standard conditions of probation is that you not use any alcohol or controlled substance while on probation, and you are subject to breathalyzer and drug screens to make sure you are compliant with that condition.
When you came up positive, you were in violation of your drug screen. You Probation Officer will probably file a Petition to Revoke your probation, and it is possible that the judge will order you to serve the remainder of your sentence in jail.

You have violated your probation. Simple as that - regardless whether it was a drug charge are not. It will be up to the judge and what ever sentence they gave you for the first charge, you will have to time or whatever the judgment was. It will not look good that you came up with a positive UA. And when on probation - drug use is prohibited. Good Luck>

I think that it is extremely unlikely that you will go to jail for a first time failure of a drug test whether you are on probation for a drug offense or not. I would recommend that you discuss this honestly, and I repeat, honestly, with your PO. You are on probation, and one of the conditions is that you not use drugs. If you have a drug problem, please request referral to some treatment
Good luck

It's possible. It really depends on what your previous charge was, what the conditions of your sentencing were, and the mood of the judge.
Or they might make you wear an ankle bracelet and "incarcerate" you by placing you on house arrest.
Each and every case is different, not to mention each and every state, each and every county, city...etc. There isn't a national standard of what will happen to you.

Its entirely possible. Why was the drug test done. If its for a job then no you enjoy confidentiality. If it was done as a condition of probation prepare to see the judge.
