Well-put. Evolution has extremely important practical implications in numerous fields of science, including applied science like medicine. People would actually suffer or die by the thousands if we truly banned the teaching of evolution on a nationwide basis: we would no longer bother with making new antibacterials or vaccines, for example, because we wouldn't need to worry about new strains of bacteria or viruses evolving; we would have to toss out the entire field of genetics, with its enormous potential for curing horrific diseases; we couldn't study or learn about the similarities between different groups of organisms, using information from one group to help improve our understanding of another (e.g., mice and humans); etc.

I basically advise you create your individual faith and bypass frm there. i'm confident with your questioning, you will discover many that could connect you. regrettably, even however, that may not eliminate worry, yet make you extra afraid of the international around you. it won't tutor the affection that we've been informed, by potential of many, is the main mandatory component in residing, in view which you will on no account be "loving your neighbour" or "doing unto others as you will have them do unto you". your toddlers can then be raised with all the administration which you point out on your question. even however, that may not provide them a comfortable, extremely joyful, content textile chuffed babies, because of the fact they'll learn that all human beings else is faulty (because of the fact they don't have the comparable regulations and rules) and which you and your loved ones, and human beings who might choose for to connect your Church - are the only ones who comprehend what they are doing. The negativity which you will carry forth, against people who do not bypass alongside with your way of questioning, will at last make you and your toddlers afraid of each and every physique, who isn't purely such as you. yet - from the sound of your question, you already stay in worry IF, it fairly is somewhat the variety you may choose for. there's a niggling feeling in me, which you're asking this question, tongue in cheek, and that probable you're hinting that the two a faith like that already exists, or slightly of each and every theory, already exists in maximum religions. One reason i don't belong to an prepared faith is using the fact each and every thing you have mentioned, I see in ALL religions, in one way or yet another. i choose for to not stay like that. i choose for to not be paranoid, judgemental or frightened. Am I good?

Why stop there? Why give soldiers weapons when they could have the power of prayer and the armor of faith?
Why should any academic discipline have any textbooks, or any books at all other than the Bible- doesn't the literal, inerrant word of the immutable and only true God have enough to satisfy us?
Why should we have farmers? Won't God provide us with manna from heaven?
Why should we have churches or priests? Doesn't God speak to us through prayer?
Come on. Lets get consistent. =)

Removing any teaching is bad. Banning the addition of teachings is worse. Knowledge and letting people actually think for themselves is the way to go.

well said... When ever things go well people give god credit but when things go wrong its the science fault and god is punishing us! plz give me a break. I don't think they should ban evolution from school, actually i think thats the only thing that should be taught. Enlightenment is based on facts not some half baked stories and myths.

Well that certainly would cut down on costs. And you also would need some holy water, etc. Christians keep wanting to push the world back into the dark ages from what it seems.

Because most medical schools aren't publicly funded, so they cant be swayed by the public into teaching something that isn't scientifically backed up.

Yeah, let's regress. Let's stop passing on our knowledge to our children. It's what is making the climate change, isn't it? Let's go back to being monkey's having sex in the trees.

And since we know scientists are evil heathens, we should shun all technology, because it's the devil's work. Goodbye computers, televisions, and microwave ovens!
