I'm sorry to hear about your papa, Honey.

Platelets are what help stop cuts from bleeding. Without them, it is very possible for even the tiniest scratches to bleed a long time, or maybe even cause a person to bleed to death.

The good news is that there have been advances made in treating leukemia. I don't know what treatments your papa's receiving, but I hope he is getting the best. He will be in my prayers.

Hang in there, Sweetheart.

If your dad has an accident like a cut or so opening it will bleed a lot because he doesn't have platelets to clog the blood and stop it from coming out.
So just make sure he doesn't cut himself, specially big cuts because then he'll bleed alot.
Just be careful there's no sharp things near him where he can cut himself by acciendent.
Hope this help.

He will develop anemia and be very easy to bruise. Luckily thay can transfuse platelets as well as blood. BTW, when they tranfuse the platelets he will feel like a million bucks for a while but that will pass.

His body would most likely be overrun with infection because he has no way to fight off infection i would guess
