Ibuprofen helps with inflammation, pain and fever. Celebrex works on reducing inflammation which reduces pain associated with it. All inflammatory pain medications can cause a person to become susceptible to bleeding, more so in the intestinal tract, (including the stomach and esophagus), and liver. Celebrex is suppose to be safer to take, but still, can be associated to bleeds.
