Those are three websites quoting the Bible.

Quoting the Bible as proof of Jesus is called circular reasoning.

I need external, unbiased evidence for the existence of God and Jesus.

Edit: Okay, telling me I'm going to hell (kind of) was one thing, but insulting the great John Lennon (the second webpage) is another.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY should be allowed to insult John Lennon and get away with it.

I do not intend to sound rude when replying to this, however...

Why is it important to you to GET an athiest to believe in the Jesus Philosophy?

And why would quoting the bible, a document that athiests find absolutely NO Validity in, go towards helping validate your Jesus Philosphy?

Wouldn't you need something that's not based off a document these individuals already denounce?

Logically, that would make sense.

Why don't you try to find us some 'evidence' which neither quotes from the bible, references the bible, or has duplications of the bible in it but backs up the Jesus Philosophy?

Its usually hard to do, but I would love to read it if you're able to find those documents.

So we have some stories by unidentified youths who allegedly claim that Jesus appeared and took them on holiday to Heaven and Hell. And amazingly, their descriptions of Heaven and Hell correspond with Biblical quotes, which can only attest to their authenticity.

And then there is a World Weekly News article about some Russian miners who allegedly drilled into a cavern where they could head (and recorded) various "sounds from hell." (I listened to the clip, by the way, and it appears to be a looped tracked - so maybe nobody's really getting tortured in Hell, God just wants you to think so).

Obviously, it's going to take much more than this to convince me to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even if we assumed that their were no glaring errors or contradictions in either the Old or New Testament, even if we assume that the reasons not to believe in the Bible are in the Bible itself, a website that tells an unprovable story about someone's visit to Heaven is not very convincing.

Do you believe in UFO's? Big Foot? The Loch Ness Monster? I can find websites with "eye-witness" testimony of these as well.

In order to believe in Jesus, he would have to appear in my living room and show me a miracle. Something that could be scientifically tested, to rule out any trickery or slight of hand. Since He is supposed to be Omnipotent, that's really not too much to ask, is it?

An appearance by Jesus would be a good start.

Why would you wonder if we've "permanently refused it"? So far there's no evidence that Jesus is still around, so you're not in any position to even suspect that atheists are closed-minded about it. If he were here and we were denying it, that would be an entirely different matter, but you know as well as we do that's not the case.

Well, refused is the wrong word to use. Refuse implies that I'm not a Christian because of ignorance. The information on these web pages is nothing new to most athiests, for most of us (in the us) were raised Christian, or atleast in a Christian society. That means that we've heard what Christians have to say, and we reject it. The thought of Hell does not scare us, and the thought of Heaven does not comfort us. Atheists who are so because of simple rebellion may someday return to Christianity, but for most - those who reject magical thinking and the supernatural- Christianity will never be believeable. How often do you use your religion to calm your fears? Bottom line, we've heard what Christians have to say, yet you all do not listen to us.

Ask the atheist how much of all the knowledge in the universe he knows- 3 percent or 10 percent or maybe a fraction of a percent? So wouldn't it possible in that 90 something percent he doesn't know be the knowledge of God? An atheist assumes he knows all knowledge, when he hasn't even been to the nearest star or lived around time for a thousand years.!!! Jesus was predicted hundreds of years that He would be born, die and rise. Read Isaiah 53. It's prophecy reading like history today. Only God could reveal the future like that!

God is right now showing himself to you sometime we think that has to do a big bang in our lives but that's the same thing that was ask of Jesus was to prove him self to the devil by throwing himself off the hill or cliff and when he was on the cross the Christan leaders ask him to prove himself by getting down from the cross if he were the son of God instead he was complete obedient God so again I say he is sometimes it is a gradual thing because we need milk like babes so be patient and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ whom died for our sin God again for those whom are waiting on a feeling or the big bang believe on the Lord he did say feel on the lord these are principle for life like if you were married and had children you saw something you wanted to buy but u knew your family needed things so instead of feeding your flesh you supported them. and one more thing even the devil believed and knew and believed in Jesus and if tha't not enough Jesus came for only those whom God gave him de he give him u.

I do believe in the *message* of Jesus, and the beauty of his life.

He spoke of peace, and loving your neighbor, and said that religion should not be about money. What's not to like about that?

But I reject utterly that he was the actual son of god. The gospel of Matthew lists Jesus's genealogy back to King David -- through the lineage of Joseph. His biological father.

I also reject the concept of the resurrection, for the simple fact that people do not come back from the dead. Period. The resurrection myth was added many years after his death in effort to fulfill Old Testament prophecy.

So what would it take for me to accept Jesus? Let him be a man, a human, who lived according to beautiful precepts and died a martyr's death. That's all it would take.

I think the only proof that Christians can give is to love those atheist as we love ourselves. And for those who waits Jesus on their doorsteps before they belive, we are the one You're looking for. We are commanded to show His Love through us. Keep In mind that He will return in Iron Hands and not that simple human anymore. Its frightening you know, but we still spending our time explaining everything we know. We sacrifice someof our good time in order for the message to reach you. God loves you guyz.

It would take him appearing to me in my house and stabbing himself in the heart over and over without getting hurt to prove he is immortal.
