All you need is a bar of soap. Any brand. Just depends on what smell you like. Just rub it all over to work up a lather and rinse away with comfortably warm water. There is no art to this. It doesn't matter what the temperature. I shower in hot or cool water depending on the weather. Love to finish off with a cold fritz right at the end though. Don't personally like liquid soap as it doesn't lather up enough and you go through quite a lot. Relax. Showers are meant to be enjoyable. Although now that we have a drought they are meant to be brief.

I am sure your story is very interesting, but for your convenience, here is an answer. Water warm to the touch, but not hot hot. About 2 teaspoons of liquid soap on a clean, wet wash cloth. Rub that on your face , neck, shoulders. Rinse cloth, repeat soap, clean down wards about l 1/2 feet. leave on while you rinse the rag out,l then rinse that off. Then re soap and wash another section. Just keep doing that till done. Oh, you should be standing in a shower or tub while doing this.

For you hands or face or body? For hands, any bar or liquid soap with antibacteria stuff in it (softsoap is the best for not drying you hands out) and then rub them together for 15 secs to lather up and then rinse. This will kill most. For your body you can use bar or liquid. I would go with the scent you like because they differ in composition so minutely that smell is all that matters. And for the face, the softsoap again is great but also proper face washes and scrubs and equally as cleaning and may help exfoliate some of those dead skin cells.

WTF????
Have you never taken a shower before?
Take a washcloth, rub soap into it---bar or liquid is YOUR choice-lather up your body head to toe, then rinse. You don't have to "leave it on" --- scrub up with a soapy cloth & rinse, its the cleanest you can be.
sheesh.............
