Everyone is a bit afraid to die. We all have a desire to live, even animals have the instinct for survival. What is more fearful to me is being sick and helpless for years. I have seen this in my job and that is a tough situation. As far as wishing to have done more in life I don't think I will feel that way because I am not a spring chick. A young person may experience that emotion. This is the beautiful part of the Christian life, if you miss out in this life, we believe that the next life will be rewarding for you.

I am afraid of fear (worry, hurry and sorry). Just like fear, the three items listed after fear are a complete waste of time. Doing any of these things will not make something NOT happen OR make something that happened go away. Use the time you would have feared to think about what you can do to better your current situation. Cherish and spend your time on this earth WISELY (like you should spend/save your money). I live my life understanding that life is limited by time and embrace the joy that every morning I wake up to find that I have another day to succeed. Accidents sometimes happen but no one has EVER been able to avoid an accident (that's why they call it an accident). Live, Laugh and Love. -Be Happy
Question: When you go to see a movie do you spend the whole time what the ending is (and ignore the whole story leading up to the end)?

Death comes sooner or later to all living things. Humans are the only creatures that fear death, because we're the only ones who understand what it means. (Other animals do all they can to stay alive, of course, but that's a matter of instinct rather than comprehension.)
I think that, past a certain age, it's silly to be afraid of death; after all, no amount of fear or anxiety will postpone the event by so much as a moment.
And if you're asking whether the human consciousness might be able to survive the death of the body, I would have to say no, of course not. Consciousness and personality are products of the brain, which dies shortly after the heart stops beating; once that's gone, everything is gone. Finito.
Death is not a bad thing. It's just the way things are.
Finally, to answer your question: No, I'm not afraid to die.

No I'm not afraid because I know that I will be reborn someday back here on Earth (I'm a Pagan so I believe in reincarnation). Of course I will be sad that I will end up leaving my family and friends but that's inevidable (sp?). No one is set to die at a certain time in their life, everyone makes their own fate...we all have choices that we make and they all lead to a different outcome. So one choice that we make in life could change the whole outcome of how and when we die. (sorry got a little preachy lol).

Death is a steping stone. The soul cant die. Death is referd to in the Bible as Hell, Hades, Death, Differnt places of puishment for the evil and wicked of the earth. Their is another place called the sea of life were souls rest in a state of slumber for the resurection. Possibly some go to heaven. Anyway after seeing the spiritual warfare that i've seen I am afraid of what waits on the other side. But I live in faith because I no Jesus Christ is God Almighty! and TRUTH lies in him.

I don't want to die, but I'm not afraid to die. Almost like surgery. I don't want it, but sometimes its inevitable.
Every death is different, and every person's end thoughts are as well. However, I'm certain that some are aware, while others are in denial. Some who have been ill for a long time may have prepared, while others may be totally surprised.

I would love to travel and see the world, but I would not be afraid to die now. This is it, this is not a dress rehearsel, I think you've just copped on and the feeling is great. Live everyday as though its your last, because you never know!

It shouldn't be about the quantity of one's life, it should be the about the quality. I can say I don't Want to die, not yet, I have people in my life who need me, and I need them but IF I did die, I wouldn't be scared and I would accept it. My life is full of contentment and love, and I look forward to enjoying more love abundantly in a place of eternity with the one who gave me what I have today! God. Without Him, I am nothing.

Afraid?
I'm not afraid in the sense that I have a fear of Hell. I don't believe in Hell. I will have lived a good life, and if I am sent to Hell for doing so, that's not very nice.
However, I don't want to die, because I don't want to leave my girlfriend or my family.

No I'm not afraid to die. I'm in no hurry because there are a lot of things I would like to do and I'm sure that I'm going to heaven which is better than this place, but again, I'm in no hurry.
